Furtherrr Collective: Symbiosis Festival 2015
Furtherrr Collective started as a between prolific contemporary painters Mars 1, Oliver Vernon, Damon Soule, Nome Edonna, and David Choong Lee, and in 2012 had its first space featured at Symbiosis Festival, in 2012. In 2015, the art collective worked with architects, builders, Lighting Designers, and Musical artists to bring a living art space centered around a massive collaborative painting. The space was an outdoor construction made from reclaimed wood and trees, modeled after an amphitheater, and provided a beautiful climbable atmosphere for people to gather at all times of the day, featuring stadium seating aligning with the Sun Trajectory.
The Collective commissioned a moving time lapse that could showcase the space while the painting developed, and since I found myself around the space a lot, I ended up catching some nice moments throughout the weekend that I am presenting in a short video and this set of photos.
